Children with multiple handicaps prove this every day. Our kids are always moving forward and upward - learning, exploring, expanding and making the most of their own unique potential.
Upward Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with special needs by providing compassionate and cost effective special education, therapies and medical services to children and their families which paves the way to a brighter and more secure future.
Our Children
The children we serve here face numerous challenges. Some examples include premature birth, near drowning, Down syndrome or cerebral palsy. Because no two children are alike, no two have precisely the same needs. Our professional team of therapists and special educators work together with the parents to determine each child's possibilities. The resulting comprehensive evaluation becomes the basis for the Individual Education Plan (IEP) that is structured, yet tailored to the needs of the student.
