Volunteer Opportunities
There are a lot of ways you can help us make it ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!
Administrative Tasks
We are always in need of people to assist with the everyday Administrative Tasks of Upward. Scanning Documents, Filing, Faxing, Data Entry -- all the normal business tasks.
Community Relations
We also need volunteers to visit Phoenix Area Pediatricians Offices and drop off information about Upward Foundation, and our programs.
Mailings
We mail four (4) newsletters each year, to a subscriber list of about 1,500 supporters. Along with three or four other mailings throughout the year. That is a lot of Address Labels and Stamps.
Appointment Reminders
We provide Outpatient Therapy to about 300 children each week. We sure could use your help calling the families and reminding them of their appointments.
Special Events
We also host two Fundraising Events each year, a breakfast in the Winter, and a Bowling Ball in the Fall. There is a need for people to help us with Host/Hostess activities.
